Check out our August 2024 concert, Sacred Spaces, performed at and recorded by Lancaster Church of the Brethren. With pieces ranging from the medieval to modern, exploring traditional and innovative ways to experience the sacred.

Then, enjoy three recordings from our 2016 series. The first two works are by Mississippi-based composer James Sclater, who has for decades been a dear friend and mentor to Artistic Director Emery DeWitt. The first, Come Lead Us Gently, is excerpted from his extended work Lux Aeterna.

The second video is a rollicking Gospel number, complete with New Orleans-tinged clarinet accompaniment (Rob Shaubach, clarinetist.)

The third video is by another dear friend of the director, composer Arlen Clarke, who now works and resides in Greenville, South Carolina. At the time Ponder Heart was written, he also lived in Mississippi.
